Jean-François Oost shares his insights on the Advagreen platform 🌱

An agricultural engineer at CIPF-UCLouvain and farmer, he gives his feedback on the effectiveness of our foliar fertilizer CF-N28, tested since 2016 on maize crops.
A resilient technology, especially effective under water stress conditions, opening new perspectives for more sustainable and high-performing agriculture.

“It’s not a miracle, but an opportunity.”

🌱 Spring crops under dry conditions? Clean fertilizer makes the difference. 🌱

In 2024 SCDA Braila trials, Clean fertilizer outperformed traditional options under dry conditions, keeping maize and sunflower crops nourished thanks to our advanced methylene-urea technology.

💡 Powered by methylene-urea & Slow Release Nitrogen:
✅ Steady nitrogen supply
✅ No rainfall needed
✅ Healthier & more productive crops

💧 Where granular fertilizers fall short, Clean fertilizer steps up making it a game-changer for unpredictable spring weather.

🌾 Grow smarter. Choose Clean fertilizer.

🌱 Boosting nitrogen efficiency for sustainable viticulture under climate pressure 🌱

On June 13, Advagreen Eastern Europe had the pleasure of participating in the Symposium on Sustainable Agricultural Technologies, hosted by the Research and Development Station for Viticulture and Oenology in Bujor, Romania.

🎤 Alexandre Moureau presented an innovative solution for vineyards:
🔹 Methylene-urea – a slow-release nitrogen source
🔹 Enhanced nutrient use efficiency (NUE)
🔹 Lower phytotoxicity risk
🔹 Improved resilience to drought stress
🔹 Fully aligned with the EU Green Deal and CAP objectives

🍇 In 2025, Advagreen and the R&D team in Bujor launched field trials on Merlot and Aligoté to demonstrate these agronomic benefits in practical vineyard conditions.

✅ A concrete step towards climate-resilient viticulture.

🌾 Clean Fertilizer in action: Advagreen opens its first demo field in Belgium 🌾

On June 16, Advagreen inaugurated its first demonstration field in Rèves — strategically located between our Waterloo offices and production sites in Hautrage and Tertre.

We were proud to welcome our first visitors: the Holland Fyto Group, long-time partners in sustainable agriculture.

🔍 Highlights of the visit:
▪️ Real field cropping conditions showcase of our latest Clean Fertilizer formulations
▪️ In-depth technical exchanges
▪️ Direct Q&A with our expert Jean-François Oost

✅ This first field day is a major step forward, and the positive feedback confirms our direction.

🚀 More visits are planned as we scale up Clean Fertilizer across Europe and beyond.

🚜🌱 Modern farming is a constant challenge.

From feeding a growing global population to managing shrinking arable land and adapting to climate change, today’s farmers are under increasing pressure to do more with less.

🌍 On top of that, the regulatory landscape is evolving fast:
🎯 The EU 2030 Agenda aims to cut fertilizer losses by 50%
🎯 The Göteborg Protocol targets a 13% reduction in ammonia (NH₃) emissions

What about conventional fertilizers? They still have limited efficiency due to an approximate 40% loss.

That’s why we created Clean Fertilizer: the new-generation nitrogen technology designed to secure yields, support compliance, and reduce environmental impact. Making farmers' work easier, not harder.

🌿✨ Because building the agriculture of tomorrow means tackling today's realities.

🌱 What exactly is Clean Fertilizer?

We often talk about Clean Fertilizer but what does it really mean?
🌾 It’s an innovative, eco-friendly nitrogen technology designed to boost both crop performance and farm sustainability. Clean Fertilizer was developed to meet today’s agricultural challenges: combining agronomic performance with environmental responsibility.

🔍 Our key objectives:
👉 Improve nitrogen use efficiency;
👉 Provide a slow-release nitrogen source that matches crop needs;
👉 Ensure nitrogen is consistently available to plants;
👉 Offer a safe, easy-to-handle solution that stays in contact with the crop.

🌍 The result?
A new generation of fertilizer that reduces environmental impact, maximizes nutrient uptake, minimizes waste, and is responsibly and locally produced.

Depending on your crops, we have developed several formulations.

🚜🌱Clean Fertilizer: smart answers to today’s and tomorrow’s farming constraints

From rising input costs and environmental regulations to the constant pressure to produce more with fewer resources, today’s farmers are under increasing strain.

💡 That’s where our technology steps in.
Clean Fertilizer wasn’t just designed for agronomy it was built for the realities of modern farming.

With 60% slow-release action, a unique sticky effect that keeps the product on the leaf, and no nitrate released, it offers measurable benefits and even more:
✅ 98% nitrogen assimilation, no loss, more efficiency
✅ Improved crop safety and ease of use
✅ Lower CO₂ impact compared to conventional nitrogen fertilizers
✅ Longer-lasting effects, fewer applications needed
