The use of Clean Fertilizer N28, in olive tree cultivation is a promising agronomic strategy to increase the oil yield while decreasing the total Nitrogen supply. The Clean fertilizer Technology complies with environmental constraints linked to the carbon impact of nitrogen fertilization in general.
The trial presented below was conducted in Cordoba region (Spain) by Syntech Research (GEP trial center). The tested strategies were to decrease the total Nitrogen supply integrating CLEAN FERTILIZER technology testing two rates of Clean Fertilizer N28 applied on leaf.
Comparisons between:
Control: baseline fertilization with urea and Potassium Nitrate (fertigation).
CF N28: application on leaf at 2 different rates in place of the standard fertilization (at BBCH 55 and BBCH 75).
